On Wednesday March 18, 2009, the Dutch TV program Boulevard (RTL4), aired a special about the many real life soaps we have seen on TV in The Netherlands. Many of these soaps follow the stars in every aspect of their professional and private life.

Initially André was not too keen to have his own soap series, he is very attached to his privacy.

He finally agreed on a road soap following him during his professional life only. This first series "On his way to New York" was followed by the "The making of a Fairytale" and finally the "Aussie Road Soap".

Coming May there will be a fourth!! series, including his trip to Japan at the end of March 2009.
