André to play for Queen Beatrix
of The Netherlands
On Thursday March 26, 2010, André Rieu and the JSO played for Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands.
After having played for Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain some weeks ago, this will be his first time -and a long lasting wish- to play for the Dutch Queen.
The event happened in the Gemeentegrot (cave) of Valkenburg, a touristic city in the center of Southern Limburg, about 10 kilometers (6.3 miles) East of Maastricht. This concert is part of the celebrations for the 125th anniversary of the Valkenburg Tourist Information (VVV), the oldest in The Netherlands and possibly in Europe.
Below a series of four videos.
First video: This video shows the arrival of the Queen, a peek in André's studios
for the rehearsals, the mini concert, and the after party where the dignitaries
are swaying in their chairs (after the Queen had left....). Have fun!

Second video: Reincarnatus with Linda Custers (JSO) and Renate Dirix (ex JSO), a small promotional video of the Dutch Tourist Information (after all it was their party), the rehearsal in the cave and the item of the program "RTL4 Boulevard" after the concert.
Third video: On March 24th, André appeared in the talk show "Pauw en Witteman".
With the other table guests (Eimert van Middelkoop -ex minister of Defense-, Michael Boogerd en Leontine van Moorsel -both retired professional speed cyclists), they will discuss André's previous and upcoming concerts.
Fourth video: On Thursday, March 18th 2010, André appeared in a telephone interview in the RTL4 program "Boulevard". Below the (short) video of this item.
Running time: 1 minute 50 seconds
